In the heart of a bustling city market, where vendors called out to passersby and the air was filled with the scent of fresh produce and street food, a small clothing stall stood quietly. This stall belonged to my mother, a hardworking woman who poured her heart into every piece of clothing she sold. However, despite her efforts, the shop was often devoid of customers.

The Promise

One sunny afternoon in 2017, I visited my mother’s shop. As I walked through the busy aisles, I couldn’t help but notice the contrast between the lively market and our quiet stall. My mother, with her kind smile and hopeful eyes, greeted me warmly. But behind that smile, I saw the worry lines etched into her face. The lack of customers weighed heavily on her.

Standing there, watching her diligently arrange clothes that no one seemed interested in, I made a promise to myself. I vowed to find a way to bring more customers to my mother’s shop and to the many other local vendors who faced similar struggles.
